The Perfect Bungee® & Jersey Dog Co. – Limited Lifetime Warranty

BihlerFLEX® warrants that all products under The Perfect Bungee® and Jersey Dog Co.® brands are free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for the lifetime of the product. If any product is found to be defective, BihlerFLEX® will, at its discretion, repair or replace the item at no charge.

The sole and exclusive remedy under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of defective goods. This warranty is extended only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.


Warranty Coverage

This warranty covers:

  • Manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Damage due to chewing, cutting, puncturing, melting

  • Misuse, neglect, or improper storage

  • Modifications or unauthorized repairs

  • Exposure to harsh chemicals or environments

  • Commercial or industrial use not intended for the product


Note on Material Longevity

The proprietary polyurethane used in our products is extremely durable, UV-resistant, and impervious to most fuels, oils, and household chemicals. However, no material lasts forever. Over time, exposure to extreme conditions, heavy use, or aging may degrade the product. This natural degradation is not considered a defect and is not covered under the warranty.


Limitation of Liability

BihlerFLEX® makes no representation or warranty as to the product’s ability to prevent injury, death, or damage to persons, animals, or property. The user assumes all responsibility for inspecting products before, during, and after use. In no event will BihlerFLEX® be held liable for any special, indirect, or consequential damages, including injury, loss of property, or loss of income.

ShockStrap® – Industry-Leading 2-Year Warranty

BihlerFLEX® warrants that all ShockStrap® ratchet and cam buckle straps will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of two (2) years from the date of sale to the original purchaser. If any such goods are found by BihlerFLEX® to be defective within that period, the company will, at its option, repair or replace the defective goods at no cost to the buyer.

The parties expressly agree that the buyer’s sole and exclusive remedy under this warranty shall be limited to the repair or replacement of defective goods, as provided herein. The sole purpose of this exclusive remedy is to provide the buyer with a product free of manufacturing defects.


Use Guidelines

ShockStrap® tie-downs are used in demanding conditions, including motorsports, off-road, and general cargo transport. Always use four straps when possible—two at the front and two at the rear—and never fewer than three straps for secure tie-down.


Normal Wear Is Not a Defect

This warranty covers manufacturing defects—it does not cover damage caused by normal wear and tear, overloading, accidents, misuse, or degradation due to environmental exposure or age.

Like trailer tires, polyurethane bushings, or other heavy-duty components used in motorsports and powersports, ShockStrap® products are built tough—but they do wear out over time. That is not considered a defect and is not covered under this warranty.


Warranty Exclusions

This warranty does not apply to:

  • Normal wear, aging, or expected product lifespan

  • Damage from UV exposure, chemicals, weather, or corrosion

  • Improper use, over-tightening, or exceeding load limits

  • Product modifications, neglect, or misuse

  • Incidental or consequential damages, including lost cargo, vehicles, or revenue


Limitation of Liability

No warranty or representation is made as to the ability of ShockStrap® products to prevent injury, death, or property damage. The user assumes full responsibility for inspecting the product before, during, and after each use.

BihlerFLEX® shall not be liable for special, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of cargo, vehicles, income, or personal injury.

  • Description of the issue

  • A clear photo of the product

  • Proof of purchase (required)

  • Your name and shipping address

DISCLAIMER

Effective July 1, 2021, these warranty terms and conditions replace and supersede in their entirety any and all warranty information contained on, or set forth in, existing BihlerFLEX® packaging, labels or instructions. BihlerFLEX® disclaims any and all liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising out of, resulting from, or related to, the use of any of these products, even if BihlerFLEX® is expressly advised about the possibility of such damages. In some jurisdictions, limitations of liability are not permitted, and the foregoing limitations on liability may not apply. These warranties provide you with specific rights. You may also have other rights, which may vary from state to state.

Bungee Return Policy:

We must receive your request for a refund within 30 days of the date you received your item. We'll accept return requests for refunds on items that are unopened, and that are in unused, original condition.

Pet Product Return Policy:

We must receive your request for a refund within 30 days of the date you received your item. We'll accept return requests for refunds on items that are unopened, that are in original condition, and that have not been used by your pet (e.g., no chew marks).

PROCESSING OF REFUND REQUESTS:

(For both Bungee and Pet Products)

Once we receive your returned item(s), our team will review your request and will inspect the products. We will send you an email to confirm that we've received your item, and that we are processing your request. 

If your return request is approved, the cost of the item will be refunded to you using your original method of payment. Payment companies differ in the amount of time they take to confirm a payment, so it will likely take a few days for the refund to appear in your account, but it should be within two weeks.
